NCDP Statement on Donald Trump’s Visit to Charlotte Thursday

Raleigh – Following news that Donald Trump will discuss his administration’s health care track record in Charlotte on Thursday, NCDP Communications Director Austin Cook released the following statement:

“The only consistent position of Donald Trump’s chaos presidency has been to tear apart the Affordable Care Act, ripping away protections for the 4.1 million North Carolinians with a pre-existing condition and throwing millions of others into financial uncertainty. Families across North Carolina depend on the various benefits of the ACA, and the president has made it clear that his assault on the law will only intensify if he wins a second term. With historic absentee voting already underway, voters here are ready to send a clear message about the importance of this issue by voting Trump out of office in November.”
