U.S. Senate candidate Pat McCrory is attacking his primary rival Ted Budd for refusing to debate, but his jabs are easily dismissed as hot air. McCrory hasn’t appeared to hold a public campaign event in months. While his opponents are hosting meet and greets with voters and traversing the state by bus, McCrory’s whereabouts are relatively unknown. 

“It’s been months since McCrory has appeared to host a public campaign event. For someone so eager to debate, what’s stopping him from getting out there with North Carolina voters?” said NCDP spokesperson Kate Frauenfelder.
