QUICK CLIP: NC Democrats Preview President Biden’s Address, Tout Accomplishments In Administration’s First 100 Days

This morning, NCDP First Vice Chair Floyd McKissick Jr. joined Good Day Charlotte to discuss President Biden’s joint address to Congress and highlight the accomplishments of the administration’s first 100 days in office, including getting 200 million shots into arms, $1400 stimulus checks to 85 percent of Americans, and laying out the American Jobs Plan — a bold proposal to address the nation’s current infrastructure needs, create millions of jobs, and make sure all Americans have access to high-speed broadband and clean water.

McKissick also offered a clear contrast between what Democrats are fighting for and how Republicans stood in the way: “Unfortunately, when it came to the American Rescue Plan and providing those $1400 checks to Americans, not a single Republican voted for it. When it came to helping small businesses with PPP loans and economic disaster loans, under the Biden Plan, not one Republican voted for it. Those types of actions are disappointing.”
