Today, a Superior Court Judge declined to release body camera footage related to the death of Andrew Brown Jr. in Pasquotank County. NCDP Bobbie Richardson released the following statement: 

“The judge’s ruling today to delay release of body camera footage is disappointing. Andrew Brown Jr’s family, the Elizabeth City community, and the people of North Carolina deserve to have answers. North Carolina Democrats will continue to fight for transparency and demand justice in our laws and our communities.”
