QUICK CLIP: Mark Walker Takes Jabs At GOP Primary Opponents

On Flashpoint Charlotte this weekend, North Carolina U.S. Senate candidate Mark Walker went on the attack against his Republican primary opponents, calling former Governor Pat McCrory’s losing record “concerning” and described Representative Ted Budd as bought-and-paid-for by Washington Super PACs and ineffective in Congress.

“When Pat is on his fourth time running statewide and he’s only won once, that should be concerning.”

“I think you have to be careful aligning your wagon to someone who has been bought since day one.”

“Ted’s a decent guy, but this is someone in Congress who has never passed anything, who has never led anything, who doesn’t even have the top Trump score in his own state.”

“Once you give your voting card over to the swamp, they don’t give it back.”

“Mark Walker continues to escalate this nasty GOP primary, defining his opponents as losers, beholden to Washington interests, and bad at their job,” said NCDP spokesperson Kate Frauenfelder. “It’s clear the party infighting will only get worse as the primary gets closer.”
