After strong leadership from President Biden and Governor Cooper to get North Carolinians vaccinated against COVID-19, Democrats continue to provide the necessary tools to protect Americans that will move us toward a time when the coronavirus won’t disrupt our daily lives. 

Thanks to Governor Cooper’s leadership, North Carolina has distributed more than 15 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and 74% of adults in North Carolina have received at least one shot. Seventy percent of adults in North Carolina are fully vaccinated. 

Since President Biden took office, 210 million Americans have been fully vaccinated, helping schools and businesses open. Last week, the Biden-Harris administration took additional steps to protect Americans by providing free, at-home tests from USPS for every American. The administration has also started distributing 400 million N95 masks to Americans across the country.

Yesterday, a poll from Morning Consult showed that Democrats’ efforts to provide Americans with tools to protect themselves against COVID-19 are extremely popular – about 70% of voters support the White House’s plan to send free tests and masks to American homes.

As President Biden and Governor Cooper continue to protect North Carolinians against COVID-19, North Carolina Republicans have done nothing but spew misinformation to prolong the pandemic.
