NCDP Announces Candidates for 2020 Presidential Primary Ballot

Raleigh – Today, the North Carolina Democratic Party officially submitted a letter to the State Board of Elections with a list of candidates to appear on the North Carolina Democratic Primary Presidential ballot. Read the full letter HERE and the list of candidates (listed alphabetically) below:

“North Carolina Democrats are thrilled with the diversity of options facing voters this presidential season and have been committed from day one to operating an open, transparent process to select the next President of the United States,” NCDP Chairman Wayne Goodwin said. “These Democratic candidates embody our shared democratic values and are fighting for the very families left behind by President Trump’s broken promises on our health care, our economy, and our public schools. North Carolina is the most important battleground in the country and will yet again play a key role in sending a new President to the White House.”

Yesterday, NCDP announced the opening of the 2020 DNC Delegate Selection Process, a process for selecting North Carolina delegates to attend the 2020 Democratic National Convention.
