Senate Republicans continue to give voters insight into their toxic agenda that Budd, McCrory, and Walker are all on the hook for. A few weeks ago Republicans released a plan to raise taxes on nearly 40 percent of North Carolinians and end Medicare and Social Security, then it was said that a top priority of a GOP majority will be repealing the Affordable Care Act and hiking up premiums, and now, GOP Senator Chuck Grassley is freely admitting that Republicans wouldn’t do anything to lower prescription drug costs.

“Tax hikes, raising premiums, and keeping prescription drug costs high – the GOP agenda is getting more toxic by the day,” said NCDP spokesperson Kate Frauenfelder. “Budd, McCrory, and Walker are going to be forced to explain to North Carolina voters why the GOP is protecting big corporations’ bottom lines over lowering costs for working families.”
