At tomorrow’s U.S. Senate debate, Ted Budd will attempt to rewrite his failed record putting his corporate backers ahead of North Carolinians and being dangerously out of step with our state. 

Here’s four questions Budd wants to avoid at tomorrow night’s debate: 

1. What’s your response to farmers who have said they “got screwed” by AgriBio Tech, the company your family was involved in, or say you won’t “look out for us farmers big or small?” 
2. When asked repeatedly whether you would accept the 2022 election results, you either declined to comment or said “why wouldn’t I?” Will you uphold the results of this November’s election — yes or no? 
3. You support no exceptions for abortion – not even for rape, incest, or to save the life of a mother. Why are you willing to let women die a preventable death?
4. How can you say you will fight inflation for North Carolinians if you’ve repeatedly voted against legislation that would lower the cost of gas and prescription drugs while taking money from Big Oil & Pharma?
