Over the weekend, President Obama attended his first fundraising event since 2024, and in typical Obama form, gave us a banger quote: “Don’t tell me you’re a Democrat, but you’re kind of disappointed right now, so you’re not doing anything. No, now is exactly the time that you get in there and do something.”
We couldn’t agree more.
In the darkest of moments, it’s easy to feel like your voice is too small, your actions too quiet. But that’s exactly when our voices matter most. Whether it’s running for local office, joining a protest, or simply sharing content like this to your social circles—every single action counts. Change doesn’t always start with fireworks—it starts with people like you choosing to act, choosing to care, choosing to show up.
Our time is NOW. Your time is NOW.
The world is watching. History is watching. The only way forward is together. So let’s dig in. Let’s remind them that Democrats don’t back down—we organize, we show up, and we fight like hell, against all odds.
Fight For Education đź“š
Another day, another federal cut. While Donald’s administration plays games with our public school funding, our Attorney General Jeff Jackson is heading to the courtroom. Jeff Jackson joined two dozen other states in a federal lawsuit to unfreeze $165 million in critical education funds that the Trump administration is illegally withholding from North Carolina — money that was already approved by Congress. Nearly 1,000 North Carolina teachers could lose their jobs, and after-school programs, English-language support, and adult literacy efforts are all at risk.
Since day one, Jeff Jackson has been showing up in courtrooms to fight for us — and now he’s returning to fight for every student, teacher, and family in this state. This isn’t just about dollars — it’s about people. While Republicans in Washington are busy defunding classrooms to keep billionaires happy, Democratic leaders like Jackson and Governor Josh Stein are stepping up to protect our kids, our educators, and our public schools.
