January 7, 2026/Content Package
Roy Cooper, Justice Earls, Hold The Line, Protecting the Vote
Welcome to the first Content Package of 2026 💙
A new year brings fresh energy and a clear understanding of what’s at stake.
Across North Carolina, people are paying attention. They’re talking with coworkers, neighbors, and family about the direction of our state and country. In those conversations, one thing keeps surfacing: who is fighting for them, and who isn’t.
Democratic progress doesn’t move forward on its own. It moves because people like you are willing to share facts, start conversations, and make sure the truth cuts through the noise. When our values are twisted or dismissed in the headlines, this community steps up to set the record straight.
This package is about carrying that momentum into 2026 — grounded in what we achieved last year and focused on what comes next. From the courts to Congress to voter engagement on the ground, the choices we make now will shape North Carolina for years to come.
Here’s what we’re focused on as we kick off the year 👇
Sending Roy Cooper To Washington
Electing Roy Cooper to the U.S. Senate is one of our most important priorities in 2026. The path to victory runs through early organizing, sustained voter engagement, and real investment in the regions that decide statewide races. Donate now to help us build the fuel the operation needed to send Roy to Washington.
Re-electing Justice Anita Earls
The future of North Carolina’s courts is on the ballot, and re-electing Justice Anita Earls is essential! Our courts should protect our rights, not politics. Field Team Justice is the backbone of that effort, and it starts with our kickoff training on Wednesday January 28th featuring a detailed walkthrough of the program and a special appearance by Justice Anita Earls. Earlier this week she announced she was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and will continue her campaign full steam ahead. We stand by our Justice and support her, and know that she will win. So sign up where you’ll be able to canvass on your own schedule, wherever the work is needed most.
Hold The Line: NC Court of Appeals Election
We must re-elect Judge Toby Hampson and Judge John Arrowood to the NC Court of Appeals in 2026. In order to take back the majority of our courts to unrig our maps, it’s critical we hold our seats on the Court of Appeals in 2026 and flip even more in 2028. See our plan to take back the majority and meet the candidates at fairjudgesnc.com.
Voter Registration Repair
TAKE ACTION! Thousands of North Carolinians are on the NC Board of Elections “Registration Repair” list simply because their voter registration is missing an ID number. If we don’t help them fix it now, they will be required to cast a provisional ballot next time they vote.
You’ll have powerful one-on-one conversations that clear up confusion, walk your neighbors through their options, and make sure voters’ voices are heard. We have two opportunities this week to be virtually trained on how to help NC Voters fix their voter registration – by phone bank and by canvass. Sign up today and invite a friend.
Voter Registration Deadline: February 6, 2026
The deadline to register to vote in the Primary election in North Carolina is February 6, 2026. Remember that if you recently moved, turned 18, got married, or changed your name, you’ll need to update your voter registration! Head to IWillVote.com to register or update your voter registration today. You’ll also need a voter ID! Read more about the acceptable forms of voter ID and how to get a free one here.
That’s a wrap for this week’s messaging!
The progress we made last year is powering what comes next. With a strong foundation in place, we’re ready to keep building, organizing, and expanding our reach across the state.
Thank you for being part of this work. Together, we’re set to make 2026 our most impactful year yet.
We encourage you to take the content from this week’s package and share it across your social media platforms. Remember, your voice has the power to start a movement! This is for you to use in your community, so COPY, PASTE, and SPREAD the word!
See y’all on the internet!

Republicans chose gerrymandering and politics over our democracy and freedom. 😡
That’s why protecting Anita Earls on the NC Supreme Court this November is step one in taking our courts back.

The path to fair maps runs straight through the NC Court of Appeals. Re-electing John Arrowood is how we protect our momentum and rebuild a fair court majority.
This year, we stop agonizing over headlines — and start organizing the courts.

Fair courts don’t happen by accident. They happen when we re-elect judges like Toby Hampson who put the law — and people — first. ⚖️
