2019 Legislative Luncheon

In 2018, your hard work paid off and we broke the supermajority in both the House and Senate. But 2020 is the big prize when we take back the majority in the General Assembly. This session we have a lot more to achieve like Medicaid expansion, access to clean drinking water, and providing a living wage and housing opportunities for every hardworking citizen.

We hope you can join us for our joint legislative luncheon with updates about this session's priorities from Representative Deb Butler - NC House District 18 and Harper Peterson - NC Senate District 9 with our special guest, Secretary of State Elaine Marshall. Delicious chicken marsala, rice pilaf, and a spring mix salad will be served at the renowned Beam Room. Vegetarian options are available upon request.

You can purchase tickets here:

Please contact Harper Peterson at if you are interested in sponsoring the 2019 Legislative Luncheon.

Clemmons Democrats annual precinct cluster organizational meeting

We started in February of 2017 with two people and a simple idea; pool our resources and work together; concede no ground, no matter the odds. A lot has happened since then!

Join us on Saturday, February 16th, as we celebrate our many accomplishments and look forward to organizing for more success in 2019 and 2020.

This is an annual organizing meeting as required by the Democratic Party by-laws. This year, each precinct will be electing officers and voting on any resolutions brought forward for consideration. Once official party business is done, we'll meet as a group, present an action plan for the next two years, and discuss what you can do to turn that plan into reality.
