Racial Equity Training

About this Event

Race is an intricate construct that was designed to assign power and privilege to some, while strategically oppressing others. Whether we are conscious of it or not, it impacts our daily lives, mindsets, behaviors, and the messages we’ve internalized about ourselves and others.

During this workshop, we will explore the historical construction of race and racism, and interrogate the ways in which racism is manifested in our lives and relationships with systems, institutions, and one another.

This workshop is sponsored by the Durham Democratic Women, and is free and open to the public.

Space is limited, so please RSVP to reserve your seat.
