Promises Made, Promises Kept: President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill Passes U.S. House

Today, President Joe Biden and Democrats delivered for North Carolina with the House’s passage of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill. North Carolina Democratic Party (NCDP) Chair Bobbie Richardson released the following statement:

“President Biden and the entire North Carolina Democratic Congressional Delegation are continuing to deliver for North Carolina families. The passage of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal in the U.S. House today, thanks to Representatives Alma Adams (NC-12), G.K. Butterfield (NC-01), Kathy Manning (NC-06), David Price (NC-04) and Deborah Ross (NC-02), will make the lives of millions of North Carolinians better by creating good-paying jobs, economic growth and positioning our state and country to compete and win in the 21st century.

“After years of neglect and broken promises, North Carolina voters know that now is the time to make historic investments in our infrastructure that will build roads and bridges, improve ports and airports, and ensure every North Carolinian has access to clean drinking water and high-speed internet. Less than a year on the job, President Biden’s competent leadership has followed through on promises multiple times to deliver for North Carolinians and all Americans. We look forward to the President signing the historic Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal into law.”
