Statement on Eric Trump’s Visit to NC Today

Raleigh – Ahead of Eric Trump’s visit to North Carolina today, NCDP Communications Director Austin Cook released the following statement:

“North Carolina is getting a lot of attention from Donald Trump these days; the problem is we needed his attention six months ago before he let this crisis spiral out of control. When we needed PPE and testing kits, this president was missing in action. He and his family can visit North Carolina as often as they want, but voters here can see that it’s just an act of political desperation, not leadership to get us out of this crisis. Eric Trump’s event today won’t provide any of the supplies or support we need, instead, attendees will just get more empty promises.”
