Wall Street Journal: “Food and gasoline prices rose from August”

Today, the Labor Department announced inflation has spiked to 3% and driven up the cost of groceries and gas.

Thanks to Michael Whatley’s tariffs, North Carolinians are facing higher prices on everything from soybeans to furniture to Halloween candy. 

Whatley – who has falsely claimed costs are down – has called the chaotic trade war “record setting in terms of […] effectiveness” and has supported it “wholeheartedly.”
