DC insider Michael Whatley has repeatedly used his position of power to cover up for and elevate child sex predators. 

As NCGOP Chair, Whatley “championed convicted child sex offender” Harvey Lee West for leadership roles at the state party. He even is said to have killed a resolution to bar the party from holding events at a venue owned by a convicted felon, in direct response to West. As Whatley refuses to answer for elevating a child predator, he “faces mounting questions.”

Whatley was also complicit in covering up the Epstein files, downplaying calls for releasing the files as a tactic “to try and change the narrative.” 

“DC insider Michael Whatley has spent his career climbing into positions of power and using them to cover up for child predators like Jeffrey Epstein and Harvey West,” said Mallory Payne, senior communications advisor at the North Carolina Democratic Party. “Whatley cares more about protecting child sex offenders than North Carolinians’ safety.”
