Republicans are choosing to play political games, when three months into the fiscal year, and less than a week before a critical Medicaid funding deadline, we don’t have a state budget. Despite controlling both chambers of the state legislature, NCGA Republicans still have not passed a comprehensive state budget. Their inaction threatens health care access (and over one billion dollars in funding), teacher pay raises, and Helene recovery funding for small businesses.
