Restore Roe, Don’t Lose Your Vote, Field Team Justice
Here’s what were covering this week!👇
Restore Roe 🩵
This week should mark the 53rd anniversary of Roe v. Wade and the fundamental right to choose. Instead, we face a stark reality: it has been nearly four years since the Supreme Court gutted women’s rights and stripped away 50 years of federal protection.
This ruling defied the will of the people. Pew Research confirms that 63% of Americans believe abortion should be legal. The majority of this country stands with us. They stand for privacy, for freedom, and for the right to choose.Â
Let this truth fuel our hope: this setback is not permanent.
Restoring Roe runs directly through the ballot box. Every Democrat we elect builds the firewall to restore and protect reproductive freedoms. We have the numbers and the momentum. If we vote up and down the ballot, we won’t just mourn what was lost—we can codify our rights for good.
Don’t Lose Your Vote 🗳️
We are gearing up for the March primaries, but we need to clear one major hurdle first: Registration.
To participate in this election, you must be registered by February 6th.
Take two minutes right now to check these off your list:
- Check Your Status: Not sure if you’re active? Look up your registration immediately at the NCSBE Voter Search Tool.
- Need to Register? If you have a driver’s license, you can register online or update your address at IWillVote.com/NC
Don’t sit this one out. Your vote is your voice.
Field Team Justice ⚖️
Field Team Justice is NCDP’s network of grassroots volunteers dedicated to electing Justice Anita Earls and our Court of Appeals candidates next year.Â
To win these races, we need to reach voters where they are—and we’re making it easier than ever with our new Anytime/Anywhere Canvassing Program. We are putting powerful tools directly in your hands so you can grow this movement right from your own neighborhood, on your own time.
How to Get Started: Join our Kickoff Training on January 28th. We’ll do a full walkthrough of the program, featuring a special appearance by Justice Anita Earls to rally the team.
How It Works: Once trained, it’s as simple as 1,2,3:
- Go Anywhere: Open MiniVAN wherever you are (and bring a friend!).
- Enter the Code: Type in our universal list number.
- Start Talking: The app instantly pulls up the 15 closest doors where we need to reach voters.
Justice is on the ballot, and victory starts at the front door. Join the team, grab a friend, and let’s defend our courts—one door at a time.
That’s a wrap for this week’s messaging!
Grab the graphics below and amplify the message in your community. Your timeline is the front line, so COPY, PASTE, and SPREAD THE WORD. Your voice has the power to spark a movement, so let’s use it.
See y’all on the internet!
