A new video from Cardinal & Pine is calling out “recovery czar” Michael Whatley’s failure to secure federal relief for Western North Carolina since he was tapped to “lead the team” over a year ago.
This new reporting also includes audio of Whatley bragging about being named “recovery czar,” despite trying to distance himself from the role last week.
