NEW: From Xmas Trees to Groceries, NCDP Launches “12 Days of Whatley’s Christmas Costs”🎄🎁

Today, the North Carolina Democratic Party launched a new campaign, “12 Days of Whatley’s Christmas Costs,” highlighting how DC insider Michael Whatley’s tariffs are making everything more expensive for North Carolina families this holiday season – from Christmas trees and decor, to gifts and groceries.

Running from December 8th-19th, the campaign will highlight the impact of rising costs on North Carolina families and small businesses in every corner of the state.

“North Carolinians need leaders who will make life more affordable, but Michael Whatley’s tariffs are making this holiday season more expensive than ever,” said North Carolina Democratic Party Chair Anderson Clayton. “For the next 12 days and for the next 11 months after that, NCDP will hold Whatley accountable and make sure every voter knows he’s siding with DC politicians driving up the cost of living and hurting North Carolina families and small businesses.”

As holiday costs skyrocket, Whatley has called the reckless and chaotic trade war “record setting in terms of […] effectiveness” and supports them “wholeheartedly.”
