“Michael Whatley is a longtime D.C. political hack and Big Oil lobbyist whose toxic agenda will rip health care from families, raise costs, threaten women’s health care, and put North Carolina jobs at risk,” said North Carolina Democratic Party Chair Anderson Clayton. “He’s an extremist who was Mark Robinson’s biggest cheerleader and was hand-picked by Washington Republicans to serve billionaires and special interests. Whatley will never do what’s right for North Carolina and voters will reject him next November.”
