Failed politician Pat McCrory took to the airwaves this weekend to brag about cutting unemployment benefits for North Carolinians during his time as governor, saying he was “proud of” the fact that he slashed unemployment insurance, leaving North Carolinians with “bottom-of-the-barrel benefits.” Splitting with the Trump administration, McCrory even said it was “wrong” to add additional federal emergency unemployment benefits, a lifeline for out-of-work North Carolinians during the height of the pandemic.
In this “rough and tumble” primary fight for the Republican nomination, McCrory’s failed agenda from the past continues to prove why he’s wrong for North Carolina.
