NC Families “Face Pricier Memorial Day Fill-Ups” This Weekend While DC Insider Michael Whatley Is Profiting

Axios Charlotte: “Gas prices are going to hurt this Memorial Day weekend.”

This Memorial Day Weekend, North Carolina families are facing “higher food costs and increased gas prices” while DC insider and Big Oil Lobbyist Michael Whatley profits at their expense. 

Charlotte Observer:The conflict has led to higher food costs and increased gas prices across the country.”

Axios Charlotte: “North Carolina drivers face pricier Memorial Day fill-ups”

WTVD: “Gas prices are up sharply from last year. In North Carolina, the average price for a gallon of regular gas is $4.19 […] For some drivers, the higher cost is forcing changes to travel plans.”

WXLV: “As families make plans for the holiday weekend, prices at the pump have continued to climb. Rose said the rising costs are piling onto other expenses. ‘Almost 5 dollars a gallon is crazy, if it’s not the gas prices, it’s insurance, you got food, you got bills, it’s just stacking up but gas prices are insane…absolutely unbelievable,’ he said.”

After cheering on the Iran War, Whatley has seen his oil and gas stocks spike by up to $219,660. He even disrespected American service members deployed to Iran, saying “I don’t think we are sacrificing our soldiers at all right now in a forever war.” 

Whatley also cheered on Trump’s actions in Venezuela as he reaped up to “$63,000” in a single weekend from his investments in Big Oil companies.
