Michael Whatley’s Iran War Has Cost NC Families An Extra $558 While He Profits

Since the start of the Iran War, North Carolina households have paid over $558 MORE for fuel – yet DC insider and Big Oil lobbyist Michael Whatley is cheering on the Iran War as it spikes his oil and gas stocks.

Daily Wire:

  • Reporter: “But ever since the war in Iran started, we’ve seen prices start to creep back up, and there is no doubt that the war in Iran is contributing to the cost of living, especially when it comes to oil prices and the price at the pump. Right now, as things stand, do you support President Trump’s ongoing effort in Iran, given that economic impact here at home?”
  • Michael Whatley: “Absolutely.”

Fox News Rundown:

  • Host: “Escalating the war has an impact on oil prices, which then increases the cost of everything else. At a time when cost of living is a big voter concern, what would you advise the president to do with regard to his next move in Iran?”
  • Michael Whatley: “Stay the course.”

Whatley has “profited by up to $219,660” from the Iran War. Whatley also supported Trump’s actions in Venezuela as he reaped up to $63,000 in a single weekend from his Big Oil stocks. Meanwhile, North Carolina families are struggling with rising fuel costs:

WLOS: “Gas prices in Asheville area show steady rise after US-Iran fighting resumes”

WNCN: “NC drivers will see record high 4th of July gas prices during holiday travel”

WITN: “Gas prices climb to $4 a gallon, forcing Greenville drivers to change habits”
