As the U.S. House voted to release the Epstein files, DC insider Michael Whatley has been complicit in the cover-up for months. He has yet to tell North Carolinians what he knew and how long he knew it.
“Michael Whatley is protecting his fellow DC insiders and hiding the truth from North Carolinians. His silence and his complicity in covering up the files proves that he will never do what’s right and stand up to DC politicians,” said Mallory Payne, senior communications advisor for the North Carolina Democratic Party.
Whatley was the head of the RNC when Attorney General Pam Bondi promised to release a client list that was sitting on her desk but later claimed no such list existed. Then, Whatley downplayed calls for releasing the files as a tactic “to try and change the narrative.”
Now, after helping cover them up for months, Whatley has refused to come clean about what exactly he knew and for how long.
