While stumping for Congressman Budd yesterday, Senator Ted Cruz admitted that if Congressman Budd is elected to the Senate, he will “pull our country back.” Republican extremists like Senator Cruz and Congressman Budd have already let North Carolinians know exactly what that means – banning abortion with no exceptions, blocking any progress to lower costs and hold corporations accountable for price gouging, keeping health care costs high, sunsetting Medicare and Social Security, and undermining our democracy and elections.

“We don’t need a U.S. Senator from North Carolina who will ‘pull our country back,’” said NCDP spokesperson Kate Frauenfelder. “We need someone who will work to move America forward and deliver on the issues that working families are struggling with – from rising prices to health care access and protecting against attacks on our Constitutional rights and freedoms.”
