Swing Left friends -- this is going to be a BIG DAY for us. We will meet and chat with our Democratic nominee for Congress in an informal setting, present the candidate with a Swing Left District Fund check for almost $50,000, and then canvass the surrounding neighborhood.

Three reasons to show up (and non-canvassers are welcome):
* Get to know the person we will be promoting to beat Ted Budd.
* Show enthusiasm and support for the fundraising that Swing Left has done in our district (by the way, the press will be invited to attend this part).
* Hit the ground running as we help acquaint voters with our candidate.

Since the event will be in a private home near downtown Greensboro, we are not publishing the address -- but we will let you know where to go around May 10.

Join us at the Guilford County Democratic Headquarters for a different kind of Power Hour!

Once the Primaries are behind us, we will be having a social to celebrate and kick off our supportive efforts for the progressive candidates who will represent us. We are inviting Guilford County's national and local candidates to come with their campaign materials, yard signs and anything they want to share about how we can help them win, because we are ready to get to work!

We have invited our friends at Swing Left to join in this collaborative effort. Bring some munchies to share if you can. If you are not a canvasser, there's still plenty of ways to help. Stop in, meet the candidates and grab a yard sign to show your support. Everything helps! Let's kick off this blue wave in a big way!

2:30 pm - Those interested in canvassing will hit the streets for a canvass in Greensboro!

Weekly canvas meetup at Hoppy Endings. We will be using Knock10 and hard copy lists if you don't have knock10 on your phone.
