50 days ago, DC insider and Big Oil Lobbyist Michael Whatley was exposed for knowingly elevating a convicted child sex predator. As this issue is “getting national attention,” Whatley has continued dodging reporter questions at all costs. When directly confronted, he has “sidestepped” the question or just straight up lied.
“DC insider Michael Whatley repeatedly elevated a convicted child sex predator and put North Carolinians in danger,” said Mallory Payne, senior communications advisor for the North Carolina Democratic Party. “Whatley’s refusal to explain himself says everything you need to know – he cares more about protecting his political allies than keeping families safe. North Carolina deserves a senator who will fight for working families, not child predators.”
