As North Carolina families face skyrocketing food and grocery costs, DC insider Michael Whatley has doubled down on his support for policies that are driving up groceries costs.

GROCERY PRICES ARE SKYROCKETING FOR NC FAMILIES:

WTVD: “Another Raleigh resident said he has already made cuts. ‘I don’t know what more I can do to save money — let’s put it that way,’ said the shopper, identified only as Bill.”

WLOS: “‘It’s so upsetting. I don’t know how families do it — I can’t do it,’ Asheville resident Barb Lutz said. ‘I’m cutting back on things, and I definitely don’t buy organic anymore.’”

WITN: “‘Prices are too high. They’ve never been this high in our lives,’ shopper Bobby Gorham said. ‘I’m definitely buying certain things less.’”

MEANWHILE, WHATLEY CONTINUES TO BACK POLICIES THAT ARE MAKING GROCERIES COST MORE: 

Salisbury Post: “Whatley also said that he supported tariffs for consumer goods even if they raised costs for the average American family.”
