100 Days Since Iran War Started, NC Families Are Paying More While DC Insider Michael Whatley Profits

Since the Iran War started 100 days ago, North Carolina families continue to face record inflation and soaring gas prices while DC insider and Big Oil Lobbyist Michael Whatley has grown richer from the conflict, disrespected American service members and downplayed the war.

A longtime Big Oil lobbyist, Whatley “profited by up to $219,660” from his oil and gas investments as gas prices skyrocket for North Carolina families.

After the conflict escalated, here’s a reminder that Whatley continued to downplay the war while he profits from it, calling it “not even a war” and saying “I don’t think we are sacrificing our soldiers at all right now in a forever war.” 13 U.S. service members have made the ultimate sacrifice.
