About this Event

The Pitt County Democratic Party will hold its 2019 County Convention on March 23rd, at the Pitt County Courthouse in Uptown Greenville. All delegates elected to serve as representatives of her/his precinct are expected to attend.

The convention agenda includes:

1) Election of 2019-2020 County Executive Officers (Chair, First Vice Chair, Second Vice Chair, Third Vice Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer);

2) Election of County Delegates to the North Carolina Democratic Party (NCDP) State Executive Committee;

3) Election of Delegates to the 1st and 3rd Congressional District Conventions (Pitt County currently sits in both Districts), as well as two officers to each District’s Executive Committee; and

4) Consideration and adoption of Resolutions.

North Carolina State Auditor Beth Wood will join the Convention as the Pitt County Democratic Party’s Featured Guest.
