Early Voting is HERE!

Here’s what we’re covering this week!👇

Early Voting Guide:

Early voting is here, y’all! From October 15 to October 31, you can cast your ballot on your own schedule and skip the Election Day rush.

As the polls open and we head into the final stretch, it’s important that every voter across the state has the resources they need to cast their ballot confidently. Below are some resources you can share across the timeline and within your community.

All-in-One Tool: Meet your candidates, find your voting location, and make a plan to vote at ncdp.org/candidates

NC Voter Resources: From helpful voter guides, to knowing your rights, and so much more, visit ncdp.org/vote2026

National Voter Tool: Help others in and out of state find up-to-date election information at iwillvote.com

Voter Hotline: Still not sure? Call or text our Voter Hotline with any questions or concerns at 1-833-868-3462

Make your plan to vote today, and make sure your community does too! Every ballot cast early is momentum for this movement, and we’re ready to show what North Carolina Democrats have been working at all year. Your voice matters, your vote matters, and the time to use them is now!

Heads Up:

You may have seen a viral post circulating online, claiming that if a poll worker writes on your ballot, it will be thrown out.

That is false.

In North Carolina, poll workers typically write on ballots as part of the process, and it does not invalidate your vote.

Posts like this spread fast, and they can make voters doubt the process before they ever show up. If you see it on your feed or in your group chat, shut it down. Share the facts and make sure everyone you know feels confident casting their ballot.

Republicans have made it hard enough to get to the polls by closing and moving our polling locations and changing the times we’re allowed to cast a ballot. Before you head out, double-check your polling site and hours. You can verify everything at ncdp.org/vote2026.

Don’t let anyone talk you out of your vote. Know the facts, make your plan, and most importantly, SHOW UP.

That’s a wrap for this week’s messaging!

Now it’s your turn! Download the graphics below, copy our captions, and get the message out! Whether you’re lighting up the group chat or sharing it on your timeline, your voice is what actually moves the needle!

See y’all on the internet!
