Summer is flying by and so are your chances to purchase tickets for this year’s Sanford-Hunt Dinner on Saturday, August 25.

We had a ball last year. More than 500 people attended our sold-out event.

We heard brief tributes from folks like Tom Lambeth, Franklin Freeman, Sam Poole, Kevin Monroe, Howard Lee and Katie Dorsett. And we listened, captivated as Jim Hunt reminded us of what we’re fighting for.

This year’s event promises to be nothing short of spectacular. It starts at 5:30 p.m. at George K’s located at 2108 Cedar Fork Drive in Greensboro. Confirmed speakers include: Dan Blue, Robert Morgan, Betty McCain and Carolyn Coleman. And Jim Hunt will, once again, electrify the crowd.

With so many issues that divide us as a nation and a community, this is an opportunity for old friends to unite and to introduce new friends to the leadership and vision Terry Sanford and Jim Hunt have given to our state.
