“NC Forward” tour
Dems tour state to see GOP budget’s impact firsthand, press for new focus on education and job creation
Raleigh, NC – On Monday, Democratic state legislators from across North Carolina will launch a 19-stop, weeklong tour of the state to learn more about the impact of the job-killing Republican budget passed in June and press for a renewed focus on investing in public education and creating jobs.
The Democrats’ “NC Forward” tour will begin with stops on Monday in Raleigh, Rocky Mount, Greenville, New Bern, and Kinston and continue through next Friday.
All events are free and open to the public.
