Sinclair Broadcast Group, which includes WLOS in Asheville and WXLV in Greensboro, announced it has pulled the Republican Governors Association’s false negative ad off the air. That’s a victory against President Bush and his national Republican supporters that have brought their brand of politics to North Carolina.

But this isn't over. The RGA’s ad campaign has been funded by nearly $2 million from the head of the notorious Swift Boat campaign and other Swift Boat donors. They won’t give up and they will be back with more ads – that’s why we need your help. Right now, Pat McCrory is running ads claiming he’s running a positive campaign, but at the same time he’s welcoming the RGA’s help with open arms. Don’t let him get away with it!
