NCDP Third Vice Chair Tony McEwen
A graduate of UNC-Wilmington, Tony McEwen has worked on behalf of the Democratic Party across North Carolina and the Democratic political spectrum.
He has served as President of the College Democrats of UNC-Wilmington, President of the Young Democrats of North Carolina, and was the youngest-ever-elected 10th Congressional District Chairman. Professionally, Tony has worked in a political capacity for the Democratic Leadership Council, the United Auto Workers, AFL-CIO, and in the office of Congressman Mel Watt and currently serves as Economic Development Director for Congressman Mike McIntrye. Most recently, McEwen has helped resurrect the Hispanic American Democrats of North Carolina. He sees his role as an advocate for youth involvement and advancement in the party and to support grassroots activsts in all corners of the state.
