David Parker has 35 years of experience in state campaigns and fundraising for Democratic candidates. At the State level, David has been State President of the Young Democrats of North Carolina and the First Vice Chair of the North Carolina Democratic Party. At the national level, he has served on the Democratic National Committee since 1995. In addition, Parker has been a member of the North Carolina delegation at every National Convention since 1984.

Gwen Wilkins has consistently held leadership positions within the Democratic Party. She has been a Precinct Chair, County Chair and Chair of the First Congressional District, which has 23 of our State's one hundred counties and, also, has served in numerous leadership positions in her community.

Douglas A. Wilson is the former Director of Constituency Outreach and Regional Director for President Barack Obama’s Campaign in SC. He was the first Obama Organizer on the ground in Charlotte in 2007. He helped to train volunteers and as a result, many of these volunteers have remained active in North Carolina politics as community organizers and political candidates.
Wilson is also the President and Founder of Politics Is Power (http://politicsispower.com) a political blog as well as a research and education institute dedicated to the promotion of moderate progressive policies.

A graduate of UNC-Wilmington, Tony McEwen has worked on behalf of the Democratic Party across North Carolina and the Democratic political spectrum.
He has served as President of the College Democrats of UNC-Wilmington, President of the Young Democrats of North Carolina, and was the youngest-ever-elected 10th Congressional District Chairman. Most recently, McEwen has helped re-establish the Hispanic American Democrats of North Carolina.
