Mitt Romney: Money to Burn (VIDEO)

During a Republican debate in Iowa over the weekend, Mitt Romney showed yet again just how out of touch he is with the average American.

After fellow GOP hopeful Rick Perry took issue with Mitt’s flip-flopping on his own Massachusetts health care plan, Romney attempted to bet Perry $10,000 to try and prove his point.

Apparently, Mitt Romney has $10,000 to burn.

“Every time we think Mitt Romney has proven he could not be more out-of-touch with the needs of middle-class families in America, he outdoes himself," said David Parker, Chairman of the North Carolina Democratic Party. "$10,000 may not mean much to Mitt Romney, but that is more than four months of hard-earned pay for the typical American living in North Carolina and across the country. The fact that this is the same candidate who believes that ‘corporations are people’ and in the very same debate Saturday night continued to dismiss a $1,500 tax cut for working families as a ‘little Band-Aid’ just goes to show that Mitt Romney doesn’t have a clue what it takes for everyday folks here in North Carolina to make ends meet.”
